Pastel painting in Lake George




A recient stay in beautiful Lake George inspired this early morning painting. A pastel 16 x 20 approx.) after framing. This is looking from Lagoon Manor area at Tongue mountain and south.

Rocky


Rainy and cold, what's up. Have to take Rocky for a walk. He doesn't need sunglasses today.

Later we'll go down to the strand and check out the Teal's progress and stop into ASK to check out the paintings. I'm also working on a pastel of a great shot that Frank Stella took of a conductor on the Arkville train many years ago.

I will be showing this pastel and two other paintings this month at the Tivoli Artist Co-op in Tivoli, NY The opening is Sat. May 2nd
7-9PM The theme is Hudson River and will feature paintings done by several members. Wine & cheese!!! Please come.

Johnny and the crew are hard at work getting the Teal ready for another season of parties and tours on the Hudson River.

Frank and I enjoyed several trips last summer and can't wait to do it again.
